With a solid foundation in agricultural business and small business management, Nikki works to empower Colorado's 74 Conservation Districts to navigate the complexities of operations, ensuring their success through sound business practices, capacity building, and effective project implementation. Her 18-year tenure at the Colorado Department of Agriculture showcases her commitment to fostering collaboration between local governments and organizations, driving locally-led conservation efforts. Nikki's leadership extends to the national stage, where she serves as 2025 President on the Board of the National Association of State Conservation Agencies.
